A Brief History
The Philips N1700 was introduced in 1977 and superseded the N1500 the first tru home VCR.The N1700 used the same square videotapes as the N1500 but were not compatable with each other.
In 1979 the Philips N1702 was introduced which could record up to two and a half hours on the new VCR-LP format.

Timebase Correction
All our videotape professional captures go through timebase correctors. What this does in plain english is that it will reduce or eliminate errors caused by instability in analogue recorders.Keeping the picture as best we can to a stable quality picture.

For clients we deal with the technical stuff but at the same time let you know why we use these complex industrial units to provide you with the best picture we can based on your original recordings.WE DO NOT impress clients with algorithms this 4,3 that aspect ratios.All this does is give a client information overload.You want the best we deliver high value content.


Bespoke Editing and Titling
All recordings supplied by client will be as is unless its a home recording on this format.In which case we will remove all stop and starts shots of feet jump cuts etc.
Broadcast software used for adding titles or music which is copyright cleared.

We can produce a bespoke cover and menu for DVD or Blu-Ray.Please remember Standard Definition to HD conversion will never be True HD.Don,t be fooled by companies out there the hardware only fills in the missing information on the upscale but it will look better than SD.
