Standard Definition Conversions (SD) AND High Definition Conversions (HD)

For Consumer videotape conversions are either 480i interlaced or 480p progressive. We recommend keeping SD in its original quality because 240 lines pixel sharpening will only sharpen the image and NOT make it HD Or UHD 4K. All consumer tapes will require pro capturing with timebase correction first.Then editing in post production all your footage gaps removed so we work on a tier level structure on pricing and level of premium service.

For Vintage Broadcast videotape Ingest these have all the colour broadcast information 500 to 650 lines to produce either (SD) or a (HD). High Definition will be HIGHER COST.

Aspect Ratio Changes

We preserve the original aspect ratio which is either 4:3 or 16:9 intact during professional digitization. We can change aspect ratios via broadcast upscaling.
