Here are the steps we take to restore your photographs:

The photographic restoration process begins with a technical examination and media assessment to evaluate emulsion type, base stability and
degradation under daylight-balanced illumination.
2. Professional Manually Surface Cleaning of Images
Subsequent steps involve manual surface cleaning, high-fidelity archival imaging, and digital damage restoration to repair physical flaws and
correct colour balance.
3. High-Fidelity Archival Imaging and Format Support
We avoid consumer grade flatbeds and automated shortcuts. Our studio utilizes high-performance, studio grade optical capture systems
engineered specifically for deep-density film and delicate print scanning.
By pairing precision optics with manual colour-profiling, we extract the maximum dynamic range, shadow detail, and sharpness locked inside
your physical media without risking damage to the originals.
Our studio provides native, true-resolution scanning for all professional and consumer formats:
Standard Print Media: Reflective photographic or Matt prints in most popular sizes from the commercial printers we use.
Small Format Film: 35mm mounted slides, positive transparencies, and standard negatives.
Medium Format Film: 120/220 rolls, 6 x 4/5 6 x 6, 6 x 7, and 6 x 9 formats.
Large format coming soon Glass Plate Negatives and Historical lantern slides coming soon.

Physical photographs, slides and negatives are fragile organic materials that degrade over time due to environmental exposure, improper
storage, and chemical breakdown. Rather than relying on destructive A I filters or automated smoothing which erases authentic facial features,
our studio performs meticulous restoration. We preserve the original grain structure and photographic intent while permanently reversing
decades of wear.

If an item is clearly the work of a professional photographer, commercial studio, or agency, we will require proof of authorization before it enters our studio. If you do not own the rights or have written permission, we cannot accept the media for processing. No exceptions.
