Here are the steps we take to restore your photographs:
1. Examination of Images
Our expert will examine your images prior to cleaning and scan them to check for damage or surface mould.
2. Professional Manually Surface Cleaning of Images
Negatives and slides are cleaned with photographic professional chemicals which will not damage the originals and remove any surface dust. We are then ready to start the scanning process.
3. Epson Scanning
At Vintage Media Transfers we use professional Epson Scanners for outstanding results everytime.
We can scan medium format, 110, 126, 35mm, Kinora Reels and many more.
4. Image Scanned Restoration
Our expert uses manual digital tools and filters to remove general scratches before removing deeper rooted problems, such as stains or pen marks in Photoshop. We will the apply colour correction for faded photos and various filters and tools for damaged or torn photographs.
All images are restored by hand not Digital Ice.
